Most likely true, the numbers off the street will probably be very few from now until May... maybe more new hires later this year. I am sure those few that will be interviewed this spring have already been selected. Either way, best of luck to us all! Never know what could happen.

Latest info or SLI is it is going to drag out along longer then the originally planned 6 MO. My guess is they will have to fill with off the street sooner then later. And before you start jumping up and down that it must done it 6 months, it doesnt. The problem lies with scheduling of the mediators. Estimate at least 9MO.

UAL doesn't plan for true off the street hires until 4Q13 or early next year. If you are somehow known to them from a past interview, internship, organization, then you have a chance prior to that.
