PS This would be more fun to discuss at the bar over a few beers. I will buy you a beer if you are up for it.
Now, now, you guys got beautiful IAH out of the deal and are seizing most of our International flying out of that base.

News flash Mr. Gull, its not us vs you, its a collective us vs management. Within 6 months WE will all be flying out of those bases as one unit and the bitter he stole, she stole accusations will be a much needed thing of the past.

Its amazing how guys on here are so spring loaded to incorrectly throw out the SCAB word. I voted against the contract and am therefore a SCAB, REALLY????

Interesting that when you vote against a sub-standard contract you are labeled a SCAB by others. Most of the UAL people who I've spoken with flat-out told me they voted yes out of fear. Fear that this ridiculous whip-sawing would continue unabated while the CAL side continued to grow. Believe it or not, I can fully accept that logic if you'd just be man enough to admit it. Please stop hiding behind the ridiculous assumption that this contract is "good" and only a fool, (or SCAB), would vote no just to spite his UAL brother. Hogwash !!! I voted NO as this was not the contract that we, (see CAL Pilots), set out to secure when we began this process 4 years ago.

The contract passed, us NO voters should accept it and move on which I plan to do. The name calling can stop from your end and we'll all skip merrily together on down to the land of Rainbows and Unicorns.

The End.

Yea, like this means anything at all. Under oath? What was under oath? An opinion that can't be verified or not verified in this context? ”Baliff! Call in the eking out and hand to mouth expert witness!" I think I saw a tear in his eye "for my employees."

What exactly is the SEC 10K definitions of "eking out" and "hand to mouth"? Sure, the merger committees will argue financial DATA back and forth, but Smisek blowing smoke for the single purpose of getting $14.4m in merger bonuses? GMAB.

Every airline head since Varney has said this to politicians and employees. It's all about the red balance sheet while their home vault won't close for all the cash in it. When has an airline ever made money over the long term? How do you make a billion dollars in an airline? Start with five billion and lose four.

I think you may be a little spring loaded, I did not call you a scab. What I said was the culture at CAL is a Scab Culture.

But, it is not your fault that CAL is harvesting at UAL's expense. UAL had a very weak Chairman and allowed UAL to get hosed with Labor Protection Provisions Bases closed off/fences.

Anyway, why would I call CAL a Scab Culture? Ive never worked there But my Father did and I guess that is what he said about it. Its a scab culture or words to the effect. But then again, he may be biased because he was on strike there for 2 years.

It is also funny to note that when I told him about Jay Heppner's plan in April, his response was, "Dont expect any help from the CAL pilots". And that is what I observed; Easterinzing and Frontiering the UAL side of the house.

Just my perspective though.

Ah, thought it was just another misinformed UAL Pilot calling me a SCAB personally. Agree with the mentality portion though. This place, CAL, has been run that way by our management for years and will continue.

I supported Heppner's plan in April but was disappointed by the results. Thought that we would get much further with it but I wouldn't necessarily blame the CAL guys for its lack of success.

Anyway beers will be on me and as I said above, its soon to be us vs them, (management).

Craig I love beer, but I ain't drinking with you. Anybody that considers hashing out their career issues worthy of bar conversation needs to reexamine their personal life. SLAM CLICK!

Voting yes on a sub standard contract out of fear and instant gratification is nothing but SCAB mentality , all about you. Voting no because you think as a group you can do much better isn't exactly selfish.

Isn't this fun.....

We used to have UAL vs CAL internet, my dog is bigger than your dog ****ing contests, then it was who's company was the most insulting to the other in the last 60 years, then the uniform stripe width dilemma, then it was my domicile is better than your domicile, our voters were more smarter than your voters. And now we have the who's acting like the bigger SCAB contest! AWESOME guys bets on what's next?

Maybe my bike is faster than yours? Our guys have bigger Johnsons? Our planes sound cooler than your planes? Your crash pads SUK?

Any bets on the next juvenile based, feelings only argument?
