Guam Newark and then JFK
A little birdy on the inside told me that new hires will be going to Guam and Newark. I would also anticipate any unfulfilled slots as well? CAL had new hires going to the 777 and some made 737 Captain in a few years. Yes, I have my application in, just wondering. A few questions if I may. I know a lot will ride on the TA.
1)Guam: Is there a commitment? Pay (an extra stipend?) Housing provided? What fleet (737-800 only)?
2)Newark: Self expanatory? Will there be a big bid after the TA and do you think all fleets will be open? Is it better domestic vs international? Is the crash pad situation any good as I have read that 80% commute?
3)JFK: Is this a junior base? A320s only? JFK would be my first choice if I was lucky enough to get hired.
4)Upgrades:Will quick upgrades happen again due retirement/expansion and pay on widebodies? In other words will most hang onto or go to larger aircraft for the pay or will most bid any Captain seat albeit on 737 or A320.
Thanks and all the best on your TA. Happy Holidays.

I think you will have more complete answers once the TA is either ratified or turned down. For example, the Guam "incentive pay" or whatever it's goes up drastically if the TA is approved.
As far as the "JFK" base, I believe that is a holdover on the L-UAL side. I don't think that L-CAL has a "JFK" base, but I could be wrong. On the L-UAL side, the "JFK" base is A320 and B767 (also 757) only. They cover JFK, EWR, and LGA. I would suspect that if the TA is ratified and SLI worked out that it will go to one giant base covering all 3 airports with pretty much every type of equip we have, minus the 747. On the UAL side, it's middle of the pack seniority right now, and not terribly large. However, they are growing the A320 presence there, and there have been a few small bids at L-UAL as such.
As far as upgrades, expansion etc. Well..... No one knows for sure. Could go either way. If the TA passes, I would GUESS that there will be several L-UAL furloughees who return to flying. If it fails, then expect L-CAL to ramp up flying, while L-UAL?? No one knows for sure. I have a guess based on the numbers of 757's that are being parked on the L-UAL side.
Hope that helps.

Here is some info for Guam -
There is no commitment, however, if you are willing to commit to an 18 month lock, you will receive second year pay. There is locale pay, currently $1100 a month. You get this regardless of whether or not you take second year pay or the move. It will be increased if the TA passes.
The company provides 10 "familiarization" days which are unpaid. You get a car and a hotel and your family is authorized positive space round trip passes for that. Outside of that, you will be on your own for transportation and housing.
The company will move household goods and vehicles if you are willing to commit to an 18 month lock as well as providing 10 paid move days. The company will pay to move your stuff back if your willing to stay an additional 18 months (for a total of 36 months).
The fleet is 737-700 and -800.
Most people here seem to like it, myself included. It would be a very ugly commute though if you needed to get back and forth to the states regularly.
