United bought Air Wisconsin for the "Darkest" of reasons. Air Wisconsin was going to go over and fly with American off of the B concourse gates United Built for them at Terminal 1 at O'hare(ORD),could have been a ploy to get better contract terms except it backfired and they saw how ruthless UAL really was. (looked a LOT lile SLAVERY IMO)
United bought them out, Cut them up, and sold them off. It's my opinion that UAL saw them as traitors like they saw Atlantic Coast,(who WERE actually Traitors per their conference call when it all went south for them)
That's why UAL doesn't OWN their UAX feed. Air Wisconsin is but a shadow of their Former selves after the merver with Mississippi Valley Airlines. I hope they'll come back too. As a mattar of fact I hope all the express airlines again become independent airlines and throw off the trappings of indentured servants
