"Right now United cannot add anymore 70 seaters."
Uhhh....not quite right. Right now there is no restriction on UAL scope for 70 seats. They can be unlimited right up to the % flying limit, which is a moving target and unenforceable since CO flying is all now UCH. The new TA will put specific limits on a lot more than we have now.
So, sounds like you are Delta. Unless you have read extensively both of our new and old agreements, might want to refrain from comments like this.

As long as we're divided against each other we cannot be unified in the coming storm of how this management will start interpreting the contract.

"Then get another pin that we all can wear, not one that clearly carries the baggage of an us vs them message. "
Agreed. I have no idea why anyone would wear such a divisive item today when we are trying to work as one unified group. We are trying to be unified against management, aren't we??

The "Torque" pin has nothing to do with the CAL merger, though I can see why it might be taken as such. We had a similar reaction when we heard "Proudly operated by CAL pilots" for a long time after the merger. At first, I took that as a dig at the UAL pilots. When I heard what was really behind it, it made me smile every time!

There is a great book out called "Looking for a ship" about the pitfalls of the modern merchant marine industry and the union politics involved. the single seniority list has had the opposite affect. You've got guys who were once super tanker captains taking jobs as deck hands now just to get a job.

L-CAL pilot's portion of retro is too small, because LUAL torqued this portion of the TA.
"On Aug. 3, 2012, the company announced it had reached an agreement in principle with respect to a new joint
bargaining agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association (“ALPA”), representing pilots at United and Continental. The company recorded $454 million of expense in the third quarter associated with lump sum cash payments that would be made in conjunction with the ratification of the contract and the completion of the integrated pilot seniority list. This charge also includes costs associated with changes to existing pilot disability plans negotiated in connection with the agreement in principle."
