Question is.... do Gov workers get to buy/sit biz or first class on trips? I'm sure at some level they do, but I know for the DOD it is forbidden in all but the most extreme circumstances, and when you get to the level that would get that perk, they have their own "private" transpo options.

That link seems to be broken. But as an aside - Dulles has been up and down for United. 20 years ago or so, they built it up big, then they kind of forgot about it and then they started supporting it again. With that in mind, I'd like to repeat a warning I got as a new-hire aimed at commuters: "never decide to move to a place just because UAL has a lot of flights that go in and out because as soon as you move there, the flights will disappear" or words to that effect.

I would like to know the possibility of holding IAD as a new hire out of training. Could someone please give me information on the the quality of life and type of trips from this hub. I plan on moving to Northern VA and would not be a commuter. Thanks!

There are 3 slots to IAD on 756 in next class. QOL is excellent living in base.
