I don't think this is funny. I plan on voting no. I have only gone through the videos and about a hundred pages of the TA. Still have not found anything funny in it. It is far below what I expect. IMO I feel like we have been stabed in the back.

An in house Union would allow US to make the rules.
I asked my MEC Chair how many hours he flew this year.

12

Yupe, twelve hours.
In house, you make the rules. You set the way you elect your officials. You set how they are paid, how they work.

I agree.. an in house Union is only as strong as it's membership and those who step up. But why is it, SouthWest and UPS seem to be surviving with an in house Union.
Why is it that the APA held the line.. what would have been the result had they been ALPA?

I stand by my statement. If ALPA is suppose to pattern bargain.. how is our TA so sub standard?

There are no RJ pilots anymore. Just people flying jets with under 100 seats through the same weather to the same airports as you for less than half the pay.

Well.. maybe if you identify yourself, I'd know who you are. And then I (and others) could make an assessment of your opinion.

standard range of an RJ is now 900 friggin miles. That's what our union wants to give to an RJ. WOW!!

Anything longer than an hour and 20 minutes flying in one should qualify as cruel and unsual punnishment.

We do not further the profession by allowing and/or fostering an enviornment whereby we lower the standards and allow RJ's to go up to 900 miles. Anything over 350 should be flown by a mainline jet. RJ my butt. Regional Jets should be called Trans-regional jets.....

Perhaps a 50 seat RJ pilot makes half the dollar amount that a 737/320 makes, but he makes far more per seat/mile flown. That means ALPA gets more dues money per seat/mile flown for smaller aircraft. Same same a 777 pilot only makes 20% - 30% more despite carrying twice the passengers as a 737.

ALPA makes more dues money for more, smaller aircraft. Follow the money.

What ever happened to fixing the wrongs of the previous contracts?

What ever happened to demanding 100% Full Retro?

Last night, I lost what little respect and faith I had for ALPA National, and for my own local Union.
Kudos to the 7 Reps (4 CAL, 3 UAL) who Voted NO.

They are the catalysis for our own, Independent Union.. in the Future.

Is this the same Motch who was the ALPA cheerleader at TransStates, then voluntarily went to a major airline that started pilots at out at 30 dollars an hour without health insurance?

I'm sorry, but this is funny....
