Nope I won't apologize to dal, of course I won't vote this ta in and hopefully our mec won't even send it to us to vote on it. If they do hopefuly we will all vote no folowed by a recall on the folks that sent it to us.

Default UAL Furloughed guy....a stupid question??

Hey all,
I've been trying to keep up with all the traffic on the TA. Looks like it is getting close to a vote. As a twice furloughed united guy (been out this time since 2008), CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE HAS BEEN ANY DISCUSSION or knowledge on the furloughees getting longetivity? Is anyone fighting for us on this issue. I believe as a May 2000 hire, I should come back to UAL as a 12 year guy.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Matt

Rumor is full LONGEVITY for all furloughed bubba's and bubbets....
That would include the CAL folks that were furloughed as well.

Again....just a rumor that came out of PHX (MEC T/A Vote/meeting)

Do we think this credit will be for vacation accrual as well as pay?

Coto,

Haven't heard either way. What I did hear was that the credit will only be for the last furlough and not for the the post 9/11 round.

Guess we will have to wait and see. Rumor says MEC vote tomorrow, FWIW.

So does that mean the credit is for the"right sizing" of UAL for the merger?

"Hose" might be the operative word of the next few weeks. Or, more accurately, a version of the actual verb that can be used here.

I love this @#$%ing company and they LOVE *!@#$ing me.
