I was half-way kidding but it would be nice to hire people you actually like sitting next to for a 4 day trip. Nothing aganist FDX guys it is just a different process.

It surprises me that major airlines use tests and quizzes when interviewing applicants. The pilots that are interviewing at a major already have considerable experience and are qualified for the job. It seems to me that the interview should consist of more HR type questions and investigation of background. Why ask an ATP with thousands of hours to brief an approach chart or give the dimensions of class C airspace?
