The big question UAL/CAL has is will your pile of SCABS, SCAB Again??

Most likely they will based on their age and background.....
Well that's a no brainer. Of course our pile of scabs would scab again. The rest of us, not so. I'm more interested in your story though. Your a DAL pilot whose "been involved in a couple of strikes"? That would make you a former NWA and EAL striker? If so, that's impressive and truly does add to your credibility. You should also understand our skepticsm of a DAL guy preaching unionism to us.

Maybe Barron should look in the mirror to see who was played.

Maybe it is about time UAL Pilots look at taking action with or without ALPA....
More of your obvious agenda poking through.

@ uaav8r - 1. Why do you view not having gone on strike as a lack of fortitude?
Is the willingness and preparedness to strike critical to successful negotiations or is an actual strike the only way to prove resolve?

The Delta C2K was achieved AFTER a release from the NMB and less than 72 hours from when a strike was to occur. The Delta Pilots had already gone to the base airports and emptied their lockers in a fully publicized event, and the company capitulated and signed onto the last of the DALPA demands.

P.S. 45% of the current Delta Pilots are former NWA pilots, and they did walk in 1998, so be careful with painting with a broad brush.

Keep your ire pointed in an effective direction, the JNC's got snookered by the NMB's forced "play nice order"..... Hopefully they will release you soon due to the "bad faith" that UCAL is continuing to show.... I still think you won't get released until after Nov. 6, but all that means is that you have a few more months to build your "vacation fund". I wish you guys did not have to go on strike, but your management just won't compensate you properly without a fight.

Oh that's right, you guys have them disguised as 76 seaters with First Class. Again, that's my biggest critique on your very mediocre contract.

Ummmmmmm...yeah because CAL has really contributed. SCABS, vacation sellers with pilots furloughed, CAs flying right seat with FOs on the street, no health care for the first 6 months, reserves flown to FAR max, unlimited turbo props, and lacking in pay. But the DAL contract is mediocre?

I won't disagree that the DAL contract could be better. But I don't think you have leverage to call it mediocre. Perhaps if a pilot group other then Delta would put a rung in the ladder we could do more.
