I just find it hard to believe that the company capitulated when two weeks ago we were apparently miles and millions apart. What has changed since then? Is it possible that the NMB needs to see a hard no vote on a TA that the company claims to be similar to the DAL TA before they consider a release? Fortunately, or unfortunately, it is new territory for some of us. I hope my suspicions are wrong.

Without giving any credence to idle speculation on a bulletin board largely populated by gum-flapping, blog-obsessed genX pilots, you do not know if the "company capitulated." All NMB supervised "quid pro quo" negotiations are about trading and compromise.

Since there is an AIP/TA, there was likely trading and compromise to get to an agreement.

So are you a 3X divorced, drug using, anti war, anti gov hippie, baby boomer that mis managed their retirement? Actually I see your avatar, good for you.

I bet you don't like being tossed in that category

So far it sounds like you're right... what a waste of time.

How is that, I have had to send in the exact same letter and I was offered the same thing. You need to reach out to our furlough coordinator. Or details are being left out...

The Delta contract let Delta Connection have an additional 70 76-seat aircraft, work everybody more, pay the pilots an additional 10-11 percent at amendable date (4 percent 6 months early, 8.5 percent at amendable date minus about 2.5 percent for loss of profit sharing), and then 3 percent raises each year for COLA. I thought there was no way in hell it would pass. It passed easily. My point is that is you are offered a TA with any type of raise at all, it will probably pass. Expect a heavy sales job by United and ALPA.

Any word on longevity for furloughed guys/gals? Seems like a no brainer but we really have no faith in UAL ALPA to care about junior pilots. Preparing to be disappointed, pi$$ed and looking at a DFR.

You all are a work. This has been the hardest negotiations in my 34 years at UAL outside of 1985. Why don't we all just weight and see what has been negotiated.
