After the gag order was issued by the NMB weeks ago and seeing how the NMB operates under these negotiations I think it was and is very irresponsible for any of our reps to leek any info. I want my reps to fully read, be briefed and debate the agreement before passing any judgement or making any decisions concerning this agreement. Sending any info out prematurely as a ploy is bad judgement as far as I'm concerned.

Again for those that don't care to read what was previously reported. It wasn't leaked because at the time, the gag order was no longer in effect. The information stopped once the gag order was reissued. What was reported was the information relayed to him at that time, which IMO, had no reason not to be factual.

Correct me if i am wrong, and I'm sure you will, from what I have read the GAG order was still in place per the NMB and that is why most of the members of both MECs did not send out info. The info he sent out probably was factual, but premature and limited. To me it looks and smells like a political ploy and doesnt help the unity of either pilot group and to me that is irresponsible and poor leadership.

Looks to me like they didn't want it out until it passed both MEC's and then they would have a better chance of shoving this POS down our throats. Ahhhhh reminiscing the smoke up your a** job of C02.

IDK. To me, nothing has changed. The company is dragging it's feet and we have no TA. Summer is almost over, and I will continue to comply with the injunction but I am certainly not doing more than my job. Unfortunately, I tweaked my back and had to bang in sick last week. I hope to be back on the job sometime in the future.

The whole AIP sounds to me like a delay tactic. It makes the company look to the NMB like they are negotiating in good faith, but the company hopes we vote it down. If the neg. committee has already set the standard that we will cave on retro pay, why not drag this out a few more years at our current pay rates? I would, if I were one of Smallsacks minions.

I think there is a lot of confusion about the so-called "gag order."

I called the NMB offices, and the NMB spokesperson told me the order was "informal." This may be because in the NMB's own rules they don't actually have the authority to issue one. I suppose "informal" takes care of that.

I suppose if it was an informal order, that can be viewed as a formal request........ That and about 89 cents might buy you a cup of coffee.

Did you happen to check the official docket of the NMB and their "orders?"

No such gag order was issued. If so, it would be a part of the official public record. An email to the MEC doesn't cut it. Either an order was issued or it wasn't........................

what is the date and time, and filing number of this gag order? Who signed it, who voted on it and who was present?

I asked Jay these questions the other day via email, and I wasn't warmly received. Actually, Jay accused me of having an agenda which was confusing..
