Possible T/A for MEC Review??

The Chinese are currently working on a large T-Prop with a fuselage significantly wider than the current gen Dash. More like a Convair or Electra with 100+ Seats. We need to own that class of plane should it ever end up in UAL paint.
James isn't afraid of props.

Only up to FAA certified 79 seats for t-prop, and then no max hull number or ratios with mainline acft. Caps did exist on 274 small jets vs mainline (348) acft.

Also, the lead time to get paperwork and checks done are getting beyond the change point.

The resolution isn't just out. It was approved 9-0 by the MEC in 2010. The pilots are to see the TA at least 14 days prior to the MEC vote in order to give us time to read it and provide our reps with feedback. We need to hold their feet to the fire and ensure they don't try to get out of this requirement that they placed on themselves.
