Default Hell yes!

I voted in FAVOR to STRIKE....burn this crap house down MOFO's!

Open Until July 17, 2012 10:00 AM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Review your selections below
This ballot authorizes the Continental and United MECs, in consultation with the President of the Air Line Pilots Association, International, to cause a withdrawal of the Continental and United pilots from the service of the Company at such time as they jointly deem it prudent and advisable. A majority of the valid ballots returned on this issue shall govern.

I am IN FAVOR of providing strike authorization.

It's not just you voting yes, it's important to spread the word to the apathetic and drag them to a computer if necessary. High turnout is as important as a high percentage of yes votes. 90/90 should be a minimum with 95/95 being a reasonable goal. Everyone involved in the industry, whether they be management, labor, or the gubment is watching.

If you want to burn it down, then just quit. I've been furloughed five, yes five times. I enjoy the job, but we do need a contract now. If you really hate your job and company that bad, life is short, move on and find something you enjoy.
I'd like to finish my next 15 years here.

Yo Dog. I hear you.
............But I see you are a 25 year bro right.... So, hear me too, feel me yo...I mean really feel me.

Loving aviation with a passion is one thing, but when your employer has sucked the x and y chromozones from your blood, along with your plasma, your platelletes and your hemoglobin it's easy to see why professional pilots get down on their career path.

Weather you've been shoveling shtt in Louisiana, or working for Johnathan Ornstein, Frank Lorenzo, or now Jeff Smisek you've been down a road not too many people can feel good about.

When they say "burn the house down", what they really mean, metaphorically speaking is "tear down this wall Mr. Gorbechev." It's the same, but different. Both are very extreme, but can and should have a positive outcome. The Berlin wall fell after the people revolted, and look at the positives that came about for not only Germany, but all of Europe, and then all of the world.

It's really no different here. If we hold the line, and YES burn down this house, we will have saved Aviation from a profession that was and is headed to basically a career of involuntary servitude on an RJ for 60 percent less than we're all worth.

So, YES, lets all rejoice, and all join in, and burn down the house. This is not the hosue that Ruth built. This is the house that Jeff Smizek, Frank Lorenzo, and Johnathan Ornstein built.............But, the trouble is, they are transients, mere passers-by on MY WATCH, and this is my career, and I won't give it a way to some smartey pants A hole lawyer who wants to steal my retirement, and take away my kids hot wheel cars.

BURN it down, and lets rebuild it on our terms.

I'll gladly raise the gear for you any day, but, I wnat you to know where I am coming from. This career sux, and it ain't my fault, but I need to do my part to take it back, and so do you.

Let's all pull the rope.
