Compass, and now all the new 76ers they plan to bring on line ensure I stay where I'm at, or get displaced to a lower position.

Transpacific in a cigar tube. Would love to see the passengers get on one of those for a 10hr flight to tokyo.

Did it for a long time across the pond with the Concorde. Basically an RJ with really big wings and 4 really large and loud engines.

Smallish fuselage to be sure but the seats were fantastic and passengers had plenty of room. It was a comfortable ride unlike an RJ. An apple to orange comparison.

And a small 1000 mph speed difference.

Trust me, UCH would love to rip the seats out of an RJ, replace them with fuel bladders, and fly 30 CRJ-200's a day from SFO to NRT.

If we can get one for block hours that would be great.

How many will never even go to flight school or attempt to get their ratings because the current work force is so down on this profession. I try and steer people away and I won't take my kids up flying because I would rather them get excited about pursuing a career that pays well, and rewards hard work and personal sacrafice.

This delayed gratification career sux!, and it sucks bad, and I speak as a wide body international FO. It would really suk if I flew domestic on a narrow body.
