He's doing the will of the CAL pilots. That's his job. Whether you like him or approve of his job is not his concern. Just as Heppner is there to work for YOU, JP is here to work for us. Maybe you should be more concerned with YOUR side and not ours......................

Well...first off whether you like it or not, there is no more YOUR side and MY side. What Peirce does directly affects every pilot, L-CAL and L-UAL. The vast majority of L-UAL pilots have had enough and there is a very short timeline to get this done. When Peirce fails ALL of us, we will be without a contract for a very long time. This will rest primarily on Moak's and Peirce's shoulders.

By the way, thank you for admitting that you have no desire to be released and you are happy with the status quo. At least you are man enough to admit you are unwilling to strike and are content with your current contract.

Agreed, we have a short window. I too am happy that the UAL Mec finally came to its senses and agreed to brief the cal Mec as to what exactly the "plan" is rather than continue to insist on their approval sight unseen. If this plan is solid I expect you will see full cal Mec support following the briefing next week.

Twist and spin....Well the grievance against UCH continue uninterrupted, the joint meeting will take place and the CAL MEC will hear the briefing from a first person perspective, not second hand distorted information. Looks like IAH and LAX are on board with what they heard over the conference call. So yes we are starting to make progress and hopefully will see a TA sooner rather than later...

There needed to be definition of a TIMELINE. UCH stringing is us along, missing negotiating sessions, showing interest only when it was convenient to them....Is not negotiating in good faith. The JH plan defines this timeline and forces UCH to keep its agreed negotiation schedule. How many more time do need to listen to JP predict another finish line and see go by without a JCBA... The plan makes it clear come mid June who is not negotiating in good faith......

I think this was a stupid issue to bring up. I was just trying to fire off some response like it did matter to mock the people that think it does matter.
Wow. Sorry, sarcasm RADAR must've went down last night.
Got it now. And I knew Heppner's wasn't current to let him fly, that why I brought it up...

There are other issues besides the FAA, that labor union leaders need to worry about, disclosures and such...again it goes to credibility and disregard of rules...
Does the s-CAL side say that they can't go to training without a medical?

Yes and no, then yes again. The packet they send before training says you must have it. When you go through training no one checks for it. On the final check ride you have to show it during the prebrief, just as you do when a fed rides the jump seat.

Our contract has a side letter pertaining to Official Business union rep and officer travel. The PS0 was legal and legit.

The CA should have insisted that SOCC (as in the rome famed Rome flight) be notified to free up an additioal FC seat for crew rest. This is a trigger in the cba also that mandates a FC seat be released for pilot rest.

The CA should not have called Ca. Pierce to the pit. He should have just called SOCC and enforced the CBA.
