He was PS0. THAT'S NOT NON REVVING. All the time we have rest in coach while assorted company people (and ALPA) too are up in biz first. I don't see the sudden confusion. It's our contract, not JP being an @SS.

How do you make the argument to the company that the seat in question should belong to the crew when you, as the head of the union, when given the opportunity, takes it away? Answer - Pierce considers himself above the Pilots and probably considers himself management. What an utterly disgusting display for the troops.

The "IRO" side letter of May 2006 states: "We have also agreed that this seat procedure does not apply to Deadhead PS0,...".

He was an @ss no matter what for how he handled this situation. Any line pilot with a clue would have at the very least told the crew he was heading to coach and the BF seat was theirs once the door closed. I've read Pierce's side of the story. He claims he tried to tell the agent his seat should go to the crew, but she firmly disagreed. JP claims he offered to give his seat to the crew, but the agent said she would upgrade someone into JP's seat if he didn't take it. JP also claims in as many words crew didn't want to raise a stink over the issue thus JP sat in BF. Absolutely disgraced in how he let this occur.

As I have said to someone who keeps emailing me here about the medical thing since the thread closed. There are MORE important issues than this medical thing.
Is Pierce flying the line? If so, call the FAA. If not, ...
BTW, has anyone looked at Heppner's info?!
How about we focus on the JCBA? Getting us off the "streets".

My "point" was, there are a few on here trying to make Pierce look bad because he doesn't have a "current" medical. Who cares? He has other "issues" that make him look bad.
I asked if Heppner has a "current" medical. If he doesn't, who cares.
Are either one of them flying the line? I HOPE NOT, they should BOTH be busy trying to get a JCBA, SLI, and a contract to make us ALL proud....

On of the JJ twins has claimed to attended and successfully completed recurrent training back in March of this year....I know that on the s-ual side one can not go to any kind of training without current certificates including medical....Big deal NO, but why the FIB?
There are other issues besides the FAA, that labor union leaders need to worry about, disclosures and such...again it goes to credibility and disregard of rules...

Why is it these type of issues keep raising their ugly head with Jay Pierce and not Jay Heppner? I'm sure JH has things in his closet many would look at and wonder, but for the most part I would say it is a reflection on the discipline and precision of the two.

What I have noticed though, is that every UAL pilot seems to jump on our MEC regardless of what he's doing or said. Interesting how such staunch ALPA pilots do everything in their "forum" power to degrade and insult a fellow ALPA pilot. Isn't that a violation of the ALPA Code of Ethics? Just wondering.........................
Give me a f'ing break!!!!
