New rumblings from the L-UAL side???

I just came back from Quito and was told they rolled me into a day off. I wake up the next morning and check my schedule and they rolled me into another day off, bringing me down to 11 days off for the month. It is really hard to believe this stuff is all legal.

No offense Coto, but what's legal changed to where the $$$$$ are and what we allow through our actions.
All of this will only change when it becomes more expensive to operate this way than the alternative.
What's the alternative?
An industry leading contract including industry leading work rules.
Period.
Who forces that expense equation to change to favoring our industry leading contract?
We do. Each and every one of us, individually. We absolutely, to a man, have to stop accepting this treatment.
(which we're guilty of allowing up to this point)

Im showing they had unused reserves in the pool today and yesterday. Can any LCAL guys shed some light on their reasoning for doing this?

I share your frustration, but...
The process to get released is nowhere near the end play...and a unilateral demand from Heppner has the potential for the NMB to send us all in a holding pattern....

At least JH is doing something for the pilots and that includes the CAL pilots - JP has done nothing for anybody except himself - SAD.

I will give kudos to heppner for one thing....made me register to be able to participate on this forum.
As a L-CAL since '97 I have to admit that as entertaining it can be to read the JP bashing by various frustrated gentlemen...I can only wonder how much might be achieved if the same energy was put into controlling your own MEC. His solo statement put his own JNC members totally out of play and made the idea of JOINT negatiations one of the past. It is naive to expect the CAL MEC to blindly follow after being railroaded in public.
I would hope that we all can hold the JNC, Mgmt and the NMB to the schedule they put out as possible....if not then the time will be appropriate to seek self help.
Cheers

Keep an open mind and encourage your LEC to get briefed.
