It's amazing, UCH just reported a 'moderate' Q1-2012 loss. Maybe Jeff & Freddy would understand:
JCBA + Synergies = Fostered potential "PROFITS"

I'm sure (hope) come this summer, his ego will get pimp-slapped w/ that reality.

Just noticed multiple PC's cancelled because they can't cover trips.
Here we go.

If I'm fatigued, sick, etc I just won't except an assignment. As pilots we are totally responsible for the safety of our co-workers, and passengers. In the interest of safety I will not except any assignment I feel will jeopardize safety...... I encourage every pilot I fly with to do the same. I told Mr. Fox in GSR exactly what I'm posting here. If the company wants to work us to minimum FAR's then I'll use the FAR's to protect me, my crew, and our passengers.

You are not expected to fly sick or fatigued.

Really? Ask the pilots that are rolled, double pumped etc. Why do you think they accept these assignments? Because maybe they are afraid of retribution, lost pay, etc? Unfortunately there are many pilots that do not understand their rights, and that's by design here at L-CAL.

I'm sure this has been a way of life at CAL. We are starting to see some of the tactics on the UAL side.

Our laughably unacceptable contracts, which management love and is fighting to not change,
will only change to what they should be, when we fight back. S2K has such a nice ring to it.

Not everyone, and more are seeing the light every day.

For the record, I have been double pumped a few times.. and the last two times- have called "Fatigued" and that was that. Only thing I suggest to those who do it, don't screw the schedulers and wait till the last minute. If you can't get back to sleep or realize that you're not going to make it later in the evening.. just call "Fatigue" then.
In my case, did it a 3pmish and at 4pmish.. for late night departures.

Fly Safe, Fly Professional and Fly the Contract.. no more and no less~

Always
Motch

PS> I also believe that those "new hire" CAL/UAL Pilots won't be playing this game this summer. They truly have nothing to lose. If they get fired, they still have a number at UAL & get unemployment! Plus, if they get fired.. CAL is doubly screwed for the rest of the month and the schedule going forward! Nice mess manpower planning and management created.
