Not making any excuses for this FO, but thats not the norm unless you are super senior and fly IRO trips etc...reason is the way they build 737 lines and coverage. Most of us are already maxed out, thanks to PBS.. I do know reserve guys because of DHs all over to cover trips that hit the century mark. I'm 60 percent and have never come close to 100 hours credit in a month...nor do I want too.

Slammer we're are not in disagrement. This pilot is senior. The problem is L-CAL has senior pilots walking around wondering why many of the junior pilots are fed up. In IAH I fly with mainly junior FO's, and almost everyone of them are maxed out by PBS just like I am. The level of frustration with PBS, and lack of work rules in IAH is beyond the boiling point with most pilots I fly with (exceptions of course). I won't even get into reserve, it's a mess at L-CAL. L-CAL is hiring, but it's a day late and a dollor short. CP office keeps saying it's going to get better. I'm still waiting......

Hold on there just a minute. It's going to get better sooner than that! After all the company is hiring 24 a month during the summer to...wait, what? Sorry, they are hiring 4 a month during the summer to alleviate our staffing problems. Never mind. Carry on with what you were saying.
