Actually the company trotted out reems of examples from the furloughed United Pilots website in court to make their case that got our nuts squeezed in this injunction to begin with.

That's just me though...

There are those of us who just aren't stupid enough to talk about it on a public forum

Gettingbumped, You just do your job and I'll just do mine
Well apparently you don't even work for United, so why don't I just do mine.

You can go ahead and be your big, tough guy self and act all cool on your big, tough guy forums, but it's not going to change the fact that your keyboard wanna-be-a-United Pilot jockeying is not helpful to MY pilot group.

Nope, never worked in the office. Never taken a JR man. Would bet you good money I have more fatigue calls than you. But I DO look pretty cool in mirrored sunglasses, so maybe you are on to something there.

The pilots that were talking on the website were active United pilots that were back on the property. They were subject to the injunction.

Wrong. You advocated First Officers "Find things on walkarounds to be written up". That is not "something you are not required to do.". You may not be smart enough to know the difference, but the company is. Here's the other thing... Since you apparently aren't a United pilot, let me give you a little perspective. None of my FO's need your help. They all get it. They know how to conduct themselves appropriately at the present time in the present circumstances. Did you think that they would read your keyboard Tough-Pilot routine and all of a sudden decide they need to wake up and start flying the contract?? I haven't had to put my "Jr Manning=No Landing" policy in play for YEARS. Just because they aren't dumb enough to spout about it on a public forum doesn't mean that they don't get it.

So, is that legal?
FULLY agreed!! As long as you don't "promote it", it's not a problem. But when you get some hero who comes on a public board and promotes FO's going out of their way to find stuff on the walkaround to write up, that can, has, and most likely WILL be used in court at some point.

You guys can think I'm being Marvin Managment as much as you wish. You obviously don't know me, and how I run my cockpit. I'm not scared of any injunction, and I'm BEGGING for a strike because this piece of crap company won't negotiate the contract we deserve (not you A320 Cap... You don't work here), but I also think its pretty stupid to put things on a public board that could cause another mess for our Union as they negotiate. I take my marching orders on what to do and how to act from my Union, not this company, and CERTAINLY not from some Keyboard jockey who apparently works for another airline

So how does the company know whether A320 is an active pilot or not? He talks like he is. It's an anonymous forum. I thought he was until you said he wasn't.

Look, it really doesn't matter. He can be Mr Keyboard tough-guy for all I care. I have yet to fly with an FO that needs his advice. Every single person I fly with is keenly aware of what needs to be done. If anything, it's a few captains that need some reminding.... I had to fly a trip last week some moron Jr. Manned out of the previous day

LUAL, Congrats on the $32m. No way to measure what we lost in terms of pilot unity when LCAL did this in 2011, but I'm glad you're getting made whole in this grievance.
