Sounds like they still have unresolved issues that are preventing the calls from going out. Sure getting both companies to agree on how/when to do this for the coordinators is like pushing a wet noodle up hill with your nose.

If this is true, then it will pretty much put the 189 voluntary furloughs in a 30+ day by pass cycle. This will also allow more junior guys to come back until the 30 days pass.

It's going to be an interesting and telling week.

That would be interesting, since they are out of the hiring pool for 30 days, they may fill two classes before they can re-enter the process. This would give some folds south of 400 a shot.

Actually think the TPA says up to 30 days. Think you could turn down the first class, put your name back in that day and maybe be in the class two weeks later.

(ii) No Pilot shall be entitled to more than two (2) offers of employment pursuant to this Section 7-B. If a Pilot declines the first offer, the employing Airline will not contact him for a second offer until he provides at least thirty (30) days notice to the employing Airline in writing of his desire to re-enter the hiring process. At that time he will be eligible for the next available offer in seniority order.

How long do you have to respond to the offer?

Straight off page 11 off the TPA, looks like by the time they get in writing and mailed they could miss out on two classes if there are 2 per month.

My mistake. When I asked about bypassing if Guam was going to be your base was told that you could send your 30 day notice to them and would likely be eligible for the next class. That was only for the first class since they expect it to go along way down the list to get 8 volunteers. FWIW

No calls yet as they are trying to figure out what to do if guys bypass because of the Guam slots. Make them wait 30 days or put them back in the next class if they want to.

No interviews and the first class starts October 4th.
