What I'm saying is that when pilots are hiding their schedules or
bragging about one upping a fellow pilot, it's oxymoronic to what's best for the pilot group during negotiations.
And the number of hidden scheds. seems to be more than in the past at lual, disgusting.....

Yea. Only hurting ourselves. A new contact will require more positions in every seat, creating move-up opportunities for all to better pay, or better QOL. But here we sit, stagnant as a pond, helping the company make it through another understaffed summer without a contract.

lual just had a new mega-winner f/o on the 76 in LA take 3 in April so far.
Additionally, the company just related to the scheduling committee "Company has refused to bring back any of the furloughed pilots,
even when the SSC suggested that this could be done instead of forcing those on long term leave to come back.
Instead, company is not planning on recalling furloughed pilots until after the summer schedule is complete"
Why? Because pieces of work like you, mega-winner, are carrying the bankruptcy contract and the understaffing
to help yourself and the same people that liquidated our pensions and gave us a 40+% pay cut.
So enjoy your Contract 2000 +50% pay and delaying of returned furloughs while the rest of us stand up
for an industry leading contract, for everyone.

I'm really surprised this is happening on the L-UAL side. I thought you guys were the epitome of unionism. Maybe it's just your scabs doing this?

Nope they are not and they have been doing this for quite a while, union members that cover the jrm trips too. Never felt like our union was that strong over here, but hey it's alpa, not really too strong anywere imo.
