What a kick in the gut
Our CEO goes around saying things like "we'll never see 2000 pay rates again" but Fedex's short term contract "boosts children's education allowances to a total of $5,000 per child or $10,000 (for more than one child per year)" (ALPA Magazine, May 2011, p. 22).
They get $10K/year towards college for their kids?! while we accept the lowest pay and benefits in the industry? Just shoot me now.

Ok, then. Never mind the never mind. $10,000 education benefit for all. To the cloud!

You're right. The situations are comparable and anyone on Guam should get compensated in a similar way. My original "never mind" was for the wrong assumption that all Fedex pilots got the 10K.
Ever been near 54n174e?
