Default Blue Pilot Uniforms

Word is Fred is tired of all the *****ing and moaning going on about the uniforms and that he doesn't care what the pilots wear so we're staying with the blue.

Interesting, I have been told by a few including a guy on the uniform committee that it will be black.

I hear about a different uniform rumor every day. I don't really care as long as Jeff pays for it. Black & white is easy. Pants from JC Penny's and white shirts from pilotshirts.com. About $50 per combination!

You have a chance to differentiate yourselves from a regional airline by going navy blue. Isn't that remotely appealing even if you can't buy pants at JC Penny?

Republic Air - Blue
American Eagle - Blue
Mesa Air - Blue
Colgan Air - Blue

Majority of regionals are Blue. Exceptions: Skywest/ExpressJet

Delta - Black

Truly, I'm getting tired of my pinstripes

What uaav8r said.

Besides, why would someone want differentiate?? A professional pilot is a professional pilot.

Hey Zapata,

Who do you fly for? Your claimed position was MD-11 not long ago which shoots you out of Unical.

And just this past week there was a rumor that it was going to be a dark charcoal grey color. No one knows what it is going to be yet. Fred is probably tired of getting the useless uniform question at the dog-and-pony shows around the system when there are a lot more important things to be talking about. Who cares! As long as they are paying for the changes to the uniform and pieces, this is the last thing I am even thinking about.
