Default 747-422 in New UAL Colors

Just saw the Photo on Jeff's Journal, (that mysteiously you can't link)
of our 757 in the new colors. That is ompressive!! I'm liking that Globe more and more. And the simple elegance of the paint job. Now, if the Painting contractors just weren't Crashing in to every airplane they touch
it would be even More impressive.

What a waste of good paint.
I guess the paint was so old and chipped they had to cover the bare aluminum with something.

Wow. Are there many CAL guys with CALIC (Continental Airlines Inferiority Complex) or are you the only one?

I only ask because overcompensation is a common symptom.

It's fueled by tears and broken dreams.

What the...?

This is one of the few appropriate responses to the Yak's comment.

BTW, CALIC is pretty funny.

I must agree. I've seen some Airbuses and think they look good as well. Will miss the tulip. Sorry to hear they are getting hangar rash. Please tell us these paint jobs aren't going to peel like a bananna.

Miss the Tulip also. Don't mind the globe. I DON'T like the grey (gray?) bottom. I think the blue bottom would look better. And the Block letters of UNITED, mmmmm, NO...
All in all, kinda bland except for the globe.
