CAL Pilots who side with UAL Pilots... tba
#11
Just wanted to say that once all of the fighting is done with, I look forward to working with the UAL pilot group. I hope that many are NYC residents, as we can send all scabs to IAH, aka scab heaven, and we can make their lives at UAL a living hell. The new contract should bring half of the furloughees back. A good taste of UAL unionism should force the rest of those weirdos to retire @ 60. They stole their jobs anyway.

If you're bold enough to address me my my real name, would you care to quit hiding behind a pseudonyme yourself? It reminds me of the courage shown by the guy who anonymously expressed his disagreement with the way I voted on election day. It also reminds me of the courage of those who, without revealing their own identity, post anonymous lists on the Internet.
But, while you're debating the wisdom of revealing who you are, you might check out the date that ALPA pulled its picket line. You also might check the dates that those in the last three classes prior to the Order and Award flew their first revenue trips in comparison to the back-to-work agreement.

It happens. You just have to remember cuss out the window under your breath and count the minutes down till it's over. Their time and any shred of influence is rapidly passing despite President Walrus giving them 5 more years to exist.

Dave...........my sister lived in the Woodlands and was the only person in her neighborhood that was a democrat. Good on you for showing your hand. I'm still amazed at the number of pilots who voted for GWB and his dad since they're VERY GOOD freinds of one of our WORST ENEMY'S.......Frank Lorenzo. That should tell you something right there. (Sorry about the political drift, but we're so worried about calling out the scabs, yet many are voting for Presidents that support scabs/union busting to the hilt........go figure).

I agree with you 100%. I used to get upset about some of the guys I flew with when I was an FO.........until a friend of mine put it in perspective for me. He said, "son, you only have to be with them for a couple of days, so grit your teeth and make the best of it. There's no sense in getting worked up over someone you may never see or fly with again". That's the way I look at it now.

They'll be the first ones, at the end of a trip, to go shopping at Wal-Mart still wearing their uniform replete with union pin. Try organizing a union at that place.
How many other picket lines has ALPA crossed in its history? The ALPA pilots at CAL, those fierce warriors who battled Lorenzo, crossed a flight attendant picket line in late 70s or early 80s. How did the other unions at Northwest react to the 2005 mechanics' strike?
