Funny thing though, is most of them aren't married, have NO kids, ore over 60, and have NO LIFE. Wonder what they spend all their money on?

Can't hurt can it?
BAWHAWHAHAHAAAAAAA! You guys are in for a rude awakening at CAL.
If it cost NOTHING, CAL won't give it to you because that would be the tail wagging the dog in their eyes!!

100 KTS on days with a "y" and 80 KTS for days with a "z" is another option.

I'm sure glad we have some highly paid, expert management training pilots on both side willing to work this minutiae out.

The Captain cannot be concerned with the minutiae of shipboard life.

So was the Firehouse 737 in Denver in the high speed or low speed regime when it headed for the weeds?

What happens if every LCA decides to not do IOEs until the JCBA is hammered out. That will grind this place to a halt especially when our 65ers start golfing more.

I dont think that will happen as many lca's are there for the greed factor and raise their hands every time the crew desk calls

At UAL it did happen. Durring the "Summer of love". I believe it was quite effective.

Yes I remember but right now I don't think it would happen when I watch them carry 50 hours in the bank.

In decent conditions yes, you can get back on the ground in minutes. If you take off below landing minimums your takeoff alternate can be two hours away (one hour for those of you that only start with two motors). That's a long time with a cargo compartment fire.
