Ah, as an outsider, see the JS wars threat lighting off. Just like a prairie fire, they can jump boundaries when the outside sympathies take root. Not good IMO. Feeds management strategy, not pilots.

Other bases have trips that are scheduled to flow through IAH and do CO flying. Not everyone assigned IAH trips bid for it.

The problem on this forum is that one can pretend to be something they are not. JetDaily is NOT a United Pilot, and yet she pretends to be one.

You must be discerning when reading posts here. Gettinbumped on the other hand IS a United Pilot, and an excellent source of information.

As you are well aware by now, pilots routinely have to determine what information is valid, and which is not. In this case it should be a piece of cake for you to figure out.

C172 Glad you are involved here!

Take care,

Dear Sonora Pass and GettinBumped:
Thank you for the welcome to APC! I really hope that you guys get an awesome contract and retake all the flying you can. Hopefully I'll have the honor to be your F/O in a few years time.

You sound like McCarthy.... I'd also like to note, that none of these pilots were contract lawyers, and were all waiting for an official court descision on this. Now that it has happened, I honestly don't believe that any SkyWest pilot will be flying a 50+ seat aircraft into Houston with a CO code.
Just let your union work on this, they seem to be doing a pretty good job. You just seem like your trying to intimidate, and you're making a bad name for the rest of your CO/UA pilot group. Your union is fighting this the proper way, and doing a damn good job.

I just checked the IAH CR700 flying I was assigned and it seems to me to not have the CO code on it. It's only listed as United Express on Expedia, cannot be booked on continental.com, and you cannot connect from a SKW United Express CR700 to a Continental flight through IAH. That seems to be exactly what the arbitrator ruled.

You do have the support of LOTS of SkyW pilots, but badgering and threatening with supposed lists will get you know nowhere fast. I personally know of at least a couple guys who signed on early before they knew what a complete CF this would be and could not pull their bids in time. One of the guys even temporarily quit our OC since he felt so damn bad.

Might I suggest your quit your saber rattling toward SkyW pilots and reach out in a professional manner as your MEC has and even put this energy to work for the MEC.

It looks like our management (skyw) along with UA/CO are goving ahead with the flights out of the IAH hub. We just got an update stating that we will operate this flights starting tommorow out of IAH, with CO gate agents, Sounds like CO gates, using SHARES the continental resv. system. Their rational is that they are now solely marketed as United flights and united sinage will be at the gates.

Does the ruling allow this?

Most of our Scabs feel really bad about crossing the picket-line too; they also made uniformed decisions and thought a CBA wasn't worth the paper it's printed on, as long as Mgm't says so, that is. Suggestion Noted. Suggestion Disregarded. Hopefully Xjet and ASA can get a Union on your property to advise your group the next time your arrogant management misinforms you.
