What's a personal holiday? I don't think I've flown at a company that gives those to pilots.......maybe chief pilots, but they aren't flying the line either, so our only recourse to get those "special days off" is called sick leave (unless you can trade out of those days as a lineholder, otherwise you're SOL). Sad, isn't it?

we(UAL ground guys) only get 2 paid holidays,christmas and thanksgiving. (don't get the day off unless it's your vacation or regular day off) so I use one of the 6 that I have. Pretty sad that pilots Don't have them. Your schedule is near as screwed up as mine. Rotating shifts, rotating days off.

No holiday pay.
But I did get to spend my holiday "off" on a trip in a Holiday Inn Express.
