I have no delusions about SLI. It Is going to arbitration period. I am not the one who is delusional enough to expect the 767 to be banded with the 400. I am also not the one trying to stack the deck by inflating widebody fleet size to better my own position. Get over yourself. You will find we have a lot more in common than you think.
Your pay isn't as great as you think as I expect us all to get a lot more. Your CEO was supposedly better than ours except now he is playing from Tiltons play book with RJs in your domiciles. So much for that.

The CAL pilots' opinions you rail against have as much influence over the process as yours - zippo.

My response was to the stereotypical post about the end all be all widebody Mecca which is ual. I know it isn't thought of that way by many here.... But enough ual guys have that ingrained into their fiber. The cal point is that the cancer of the ual 70 seaters has a much deeper effect than the upside of less than a couple dozen 747s,etc. Also, my point about the payrates is that I could give s crap about flying a widebody. I care about pay. And between the two companies, pay is much different Currently. We are both under concessionary contracts. Not just ual. Btw, I'm not happy with the pay. Not even close. But I was defensive to the ual guy I responded to. Because the half the story arguments fall short.
What have I got to lose?? Ygtbfsm. Or are you implying that it is the ual guys that will get the majority of the pay raise in the new contract? Not sure what you meant. But that is what many at cal understand. That it's more difficult to give us a 30% raise now that we have to give ual 40% also after blocking the 70 seaters as all part of one company.
I want us all to be well compensated. I think enough has been said on each side. The arbitrators will work it out. Good luck to each side. It's arrogance that ruffles feathers and causes defensiveness.
