And where does that number come from pray tell? And why are you so defensive? What do you have to lose in this game?

I actually thought his post was spot on. He wasn't being defensive in the least - he was responding in kind to that clown who continues to posture about how great UAL is. As rocket said...GMAFB.

I have never made a condecending remark or bragged how great UAL is. I have only made factualfleet size comparisons. It is some of CAL guys who keep bragging about pay and fleet growth an how it will be your way or the highway. Now I love the guppy but if is going to be compared to a 757 at least put some gear doors on it.

Good point. Can you tell me about the handwriting on the wall at CAL in the early 90s and why anyone would continue to work there in the 90s?

But you can brag about your 747s that will be around a couple of more years and how great your contract was decade ago. I'll be here in Houston picketing against the 70 seat cancer your acquisition brought us. And you can smile about your relative percentage of widebodies since you gave 63% of your domestic flying to pilots not on your list and have +1400 of your guys being crapper on and forgotten. Ask them how cool your ratio is. Gmafb. Sounds like you'd rather fly the whale while wearing your hat than actually make some money. Days off and pay is my career expectation. Not how many hours I can fly in one leg.
Great, we are all happy for you. Now let's use this to make the new CBA even better so that we don't have to work to FARs and you can get a better B/C fund.

Most importantly, let's take care of scope.

Cheers bro!

Why don't you get over your delusion that you have any say in the integrated list? Your 'factual' debate is a waste of time. Go watch some football or put up the Christmas lights.

I have no delusions about SLI. It Is going to arbitration period. I am not the one who is delusional enough to expect the 767 to be banded with the 400. I am also not the one trying to stack the deck by inflating widebody fleet size to better my own position. Get over yourself. You will find we have a lot more in common than you think.

Your pay isn't as great as you think as I expect us all to get a lot more. Your CEO was supposedly better than ours except now he is playing from Tiltons play book with RJs in your domiciles. So much for that.

Worst to First maybe?

Personally, I came to CAL not to be a Captain in three years, I just wanted to work for United and fly 747's. Kalitta and Evergreen were my first two choices.
