Don't any of you find that its completely bogus that we have to PAY to fly on each others airline? Didn't DAL/NWA immediately exchange pass travel on each other not using ridiculous ZED fares at corporate closure?
Yet another insult from Uncle Jeffy that does nothing but put more money in his back pocket.
Keep your lame *** ZED fare, FUPM

Available?
I was checking out employeeRES for the first time (excellent site) and noticed that on many flights there was alot of available seats, particularly in Y class. For example, a morning flight tomorrow from FLL to EWR at 8:45am has 74 seat available in Y class? Is this normal or is it just a slow time?
Perhaps I am being daft, but I am assuming the Available count on the PBT screen is seats not booked, or could it be the amount of people that have checked in so far?
It just seems like alot of empty seats for a flight the next morning....

One of the domiciles I've commuted on is/was referred to as "the hardest in the CAL system". Although I'd beg to differ compared to others I've done.
But keep paying attention, I've noticed this more on CAL/Emp res and UAL/SkyNet. The day before, the loads can be open and the commute seems low stress. The morning of, it for some reason blew up and is now oversold. For whatever reason, whether it's cancellation, last minute booking, whatever. I'm not talking small numbers, like 25+ seats open the night before, next morning over a lot. Talking to other guys that have tough commutes and high frequency, seems common place.
Like I said, Skynet does it, but it just seemed to be worse on emp res.

WOW! Dress code has loosened up considerably for First and Business:
Co-workers from CO and UA will enjoy the following relaxed dress code when pass traveling on all CO and UA flights and in all classes of service, system-wide:
Pass riders overall appearance should be well-groomed, neat, clean and in good taste.
Attire should be respectful of fellow revenue passengers, employees and pass riders.
Pass riders may wear denim attire (such as jeans), shorts that are no more than three inches above the knee and athletic shoes when traveling in Coach, First or BusinessFirst/Business cabins.
The following attire is unacceptable in any cabin but is not limited to:
Any attire that reveals a midriff.
Attire that reveals any type of undergarments.
Attire that is designated as sleepwear, underwear, or swim attire.
Mini Skirts
Shorts that do not meet 3 inches above the knee when in a standing position.
Form-fitting lycra/spandex tops, pants and dresses.
Attire that has offensive and/or derogatory terminology or graphics.
Attire that is excessively dirty or has holes/tears.
Any attire that is provocative, inappropriately revealing, or see-through clothing.
Bare feet
Beach-type, rubber flip-flops

Non- Rev and Premium Class seating in the same sentence?? Moot point.....As a non-rev on most markets (at least on the old CAL side), you wouldn't see "Biz-Class" unless you were passing through the cabin on your way to 'coach'.
These day, if a revenue customer has 3 nickels to rub together, they are practically 'given' the up-grade when they check-in on the day of departure.
Conclusion.....Seeing premium class service as a non-rev, few & far between.....if ever.
