I think I want a new contract to work under before I say this out loud.

This makes me want to throw up.

on that subject, we had to say, Delta XXX in Northwest Colors but it was only for ground ops, departure and approach.

SO.... The post merger call sign is to be "Continental"?? I hadn't heard that one yet. Just assumed that as it will say United on the side - the call sign would match.

No. But we have a 757 in Amarillo getting the big cheap "United" sticker slapped on. We are separate airlines and such aircraft will be announced as Continental XXX in United livery. They will start flying after October 1st or so.

Thats ok. You can paint it pink and call it "Knob Polisher 1" for all I care. Show me the money and give me the scope.

That's right, a sticker. Why do it right and at least paint it when you can do it cheap.

At least its only around 14 syllables. That should be easy to say when its busy on frequency.

If you look closely you will see that the airline name is always a sticker. Save that money for my b fund.

Further, will at least the battle ship grey UAL airplanes be getting repainted sooner than later or will we just look like Franken-airline?
