For a Captain seat, not looking like much. Official results sould come out over the weekend, but right now "just" 4 unfilled 737 Cap slots in SFO, nothing anywhere else.
For the First Officer seat, we have a bunch. From highest to lowest---
IAH 737 FO - 108 unfilled
ORD 737 FO - 100 unfilled
EWR 737 FO - 77 unfilled
IAH 320 FO - 22 unfilled
LAX 737 FO - 20 unfilled
ORD 320 FO - 19 unfilled
LAS 737 FO - 11 unfilled
SFO 320 FO - 8 unfilled
DEN 320 FO - 6 unfilled
DEN 737 FO - 3 unfilled ( a bunch of current folks taking this bid are 737 FOs currently at other domiciles and the company doesn't have to count them in the final bid, so this number could go way up)
SFO 3737 FO - 3 unfilled
The company has 120 days to use any unfilled assignment for New Hires and they have total discretion on the order in which they are used. So no gaurnatees, but in general the areas they have the greatest need are filled first, so guessing a bunch of 737 FO assignments coming with a few 320 FO as well.

Any GUM FO spots available these days?

I highly doubt there will be any NBCA vacancies since almost all of them are filled, and the company doesn't have to fill all unfilleds. For example on the bid that closed the day before I started class in April, they had a whole bunch of unfilled CA vacancies...but none of them were offered to any class including mine and the two classes thereafter. In talking with Manpower Planning they stated that unfilled vacancies can be left unfilled.
Looking at the latest snapshot, what we're seeing is a significant movement of recent new hires from the 3 bases that everyone got assigned to (IAH, EWR, and ORD) into the bases they really want. IAH, for example, is going to have 100+ unfilled spots as people (like me) bid out.
Also, since you can't do a lateral bid to another FO seat and simultaneously be awarded a future CA spot, we'll definitely see NBFOs bidding laterally to another base in this bid, and then bidding for CA in the next bid. This is the first bid in a few months to have significant NB movement. Me, for example, I'm an IAH FO who could easily hold an SFO CA bid, but I'm bidding SFO FO just so I can get home based ASAP...and then in the next bid I'll try to get SFO CA. I think the next vacancy bid will see a lot of that, just from talking to my classmates.
Ultimately though it doesn't make a huge difference if you get CA as a new hire, because you still have to complete probation and fly 500 hrs here before you go to upgrade training. You do get CA pay earlier (350 vs 500) which is nice. But it is highly doubtful you'll see any CA spots being offered in Indoc for quite a while yet.
Of course, I'm super new here, so this advice is worth about as much as you paid for it

im not sure but I’d check with someone who is, I think if you get awarded say sfo Fo and the. Immediately bid sfo CA without moving over it’ll just kick out the FO award

Thank you! I will be sure not to let that happen. Manpower planning has been super responsive to my queries through Help Hub.

I was in a similar scenario in my probationary year. 737 FO awarded in indoc. The first vacancy award I was able to take part in I was awarded a base transfer. A couple bid awards later, before my 737 base transfer was activated, I was awarded an equipment change to a widebody. I still received the base transfer, although I did have to poke manpower planning to get activated. They admitted they accidentally overlooked the base transfer as it was overshadowed by the widebody award.
My scenario/example #2. About a month before I was set to head off for training on my new equipment, the new contract was ratified and I was able to bid CA as a probationary pilot. I did and was awarded. About a week before heading off to training on the widebody award, my training was cancelled due to the subsequent captain award.
TLDR: Your base transfer will be fine if later awarded the left seat.

An upgrade award won’t impact a previous award where training wasn’t involved (like a base change).

Be careful what you wish for. A new hire captain award will make you junior in that seat for a long time. And even with the new reserve rules, it gets old quick. QOL is what you should be thinking about.

In today's snapshot there's only one unfilled CA spot across all fleets and bases, so it's probably a moot point anyhow...

In March (3 vacancies ago) there were unfilled Guam spots. There’s only one GUM FO spot showing on the latest vacancy snapshot and they are ~45% system seniority. So to answer your question, no not at the moment, but potentially in the future there is a good chance.

The issue is a lot of us are coming from $3xx.xx an Hr so it would be nice to get back to that ASAP to make up for first year pay . In August as a 12yr CA at NK I got stuck working every single weekend so QOL at this point is stacking some bills for my obsceneley large family, lol.
