different bases, different places...term 8 cpo/fpa v term 7 gates/cpa in lax or e gates/cpo v f gates/fpa in sfo

imho this isn't something to stress out about while enjoying the best job in the world ... but maybe I am too thick-skinned/intolerant

that was a long time ago. Care to elaborate? Perhaps we can discuss it during our briefing in the FPA.

Recent debacle with FSAP's only strengthens that thought process. Welcome to The U! They can strike SHALL anytime now fwiw...
It’s not the “shall,” it’s the “or coordinated differently by the captain.” You can coordinate to meet wherever you want. There is no requirement to meet in the FPA if you deem otherwise.

It’s a “flex” to brag about being a line holder at UA. Add the horrible commuter policy with reserve abuse by schedulers and it’s like being at a regional all over again for newbies. It’s also why your CA upgrade is so junior, to avoid reserve life.

There's a reason why United is well known for having reserve go more junior compared to Delta and AA.
Hot daaaaam! Here I am thinking this thread literally could not get any dumber OR crappier, but again I am completely wrong!

LaxtoDen and his best friend AAhole are both here to defecate all over the place like the two uninformed lobotomized twins they are! Thanks boys, now get the F out.

Perfect.

With the current Flight Ops Management, I'm not putting my @rse on the line going into a FSI relying on saying things were "coordinated differently by the captain" cause we all know meeting in FPA is stupid. If things go south for FO on commute or drive, cool we can coordinate.

Some of you think it's the equivalent of going five over the speed limit. Good luck with that line of logic if you ever get put through the ringer for some reason. Sorry for the 5 minute inconvience, but CYA is the game in this career esp right now. I'll make it up in beers at the layover if you want, but not at The Yardhouse.

If you call what you're flying a "jet", your number on the tool scale starts to increase. Just about as good as showing up with a Ray-Ban holster on and smacking gum over a headset.

We had one idiot that had a train whistle that he would blow before taxi. What I was fantasizing about doing to him reminded me of a Daffy Duck cartoon.

True Story.
