It did change. Marriott Marquis on Broadway. Looking forward to it! Any room there has to be better than the Sheraton!

Some people need to seriously get a grip.

Glad we moved. That is def better.

Great spot, but Gaf West is in Midtown, not Downtown. Unless they moved south of 14th, my apologies if so.

I didn't have much of the poundcake. Gotta love the sampoo in the "ketchup packets"!

Not sure how far back you going, but we used to stay at a marriot on Lexington. to my knowledge we have not stayed here, but could be wrong.

No, that one was by Grand Central. This one is by Times Square, closer actually than our current hotel. I think the old hotel by Grand Central changed hands.
Side note - plenty of Irish Bars near there!🍺😁

Thumbs up Marriott Report

I'm surprised no one has posted anything about this hotel yet. First and foremost, the rooms are a vast improvement from the Sheraton. Actually room to move around. They're standard Marriott rooms, similar to the Marquis in DT SFO. It's a larger hotel with lounge and large restaurant. It's equally as busy and it is most certainly in tourist central. They're having growing pains with the volume of UA pilots so patience may be required. Don't be like the Capt filling out the negative PDR as he waited for them to figure out the bookings. They'll figure it out. One big negative is that for some reason they're allowing the loiterers to sit in the car ally and smoke weed. That seedy element does not need to be associated with our hotel.
