Can someone verify or deny this

I just have a really hard time believing a pilot with enough professional flying experience to be a legacy widebody F/O would drop a dime about an offline crew to the FAA based upon a small error that was 1. observed when jumpseating, 2. trapped, and 3. didn't pose an immediate safety-of-flight risk.
Its more plausible IMO that somebody without the experience and perspective of a 121 pilot could think "the crew was unsafe and the jet was about to crash!" when hearing something along the lines of "they got a little slow".

Doubt it has anything to do with woke or DEI or whatever the magic word of the day is.
You do have some real nuggets in this industry like in any other. It’s a surprise some of them can even find the airport every day.
Some just consider work an inconvenience in between days off. Some habitually act like their sh!t don’t stink, some got everything handed to them in life and are truly clueless as to cause, effect and consequences.
I’m real curious about the CVR and FOQA data.

Would be nice if the two organizations had all the facts available to them and could shed some light on this topic, hopefully simmering it down and moving us along would say something. What concerns me is that this hasn't been brought to the forefront yet. If this was a simple misunderstanding by a third party, why don't they say that and we all get on with our lives? I think the fact that it's fairly hush-hush is telling but who knows?
Also, I might add that just because each one of us might not call the FAA, doesn't mean another 121-rated pilot wouldn't. Time will tell on this one.

Whether she reported it herself, or talked about it to her husband, side piece, or Santa and they reported it, that doesn't make one bit of difference to me. She will not be riding my jumpseat. I do not want somebody back there who will gossip about the flight to whoever passes her in the terminal.

United has hired/is hiring large number of younger, woke people, so this lack of understanding of etiquette and the profession is not surprising. And it’s only going to get worse. You say something that is construed as mean, you make any sort of insinuation, etc, you're gonna be reported by the yuppy entitled new gen. Those United cockpits gonna be so much fun taking videos and selfies for Instagram 🙄.

Me thinks Hummingbear may know the real story and person involved. You're running a lot of interference for said person. I have no dog in this fight and will never deny a jumpseat to any Pilot, unless there's a real strong reason. But stories and rumors tend to have truths behind them and are not fabricated out of thin air. If all of this is not fact or based on untruths and rumors then why isn't the Snitch defending herself openly IN PUBLIC? All I hear are Hummingbears and crickets..........
