My answer to UAL ALPA MEC is rather simple:
It's 2024.... Time to update the tenets. In the social media age, we don't need any evidence. We can destroy anyone based on fifth hand hearsay or simple innuendo. Evidence is so 1995. 😜

Or maybe this whole CRT "protected status" thing is a bunch of malarkey and for the most part...... wait for it...... people actually put in hard work and earned the positions they are in. *gasp* I know, very controversial take for the new generation. Find your safespace if needed.

Why would the union need to do damage control? They work for us, & when one of our own does something stupid, they will remind us how to keep ourselves out of similar trouble. Right now, it seems the stupidest thing happening is people sharing private information online based on inaccurate or incomplete understanding.

There, you just said it yourself, the Union spin machine is doing everything they can to change the narrative and protect this pilot. After all that’s their job as you just stated right? Very cute though that you think Unions are that benevolent. You obviously need to do some research on the history on Unions and how easily they are corruptible.
I also assume there's more to the story.

And cute that you feel UAL pilots who just canned practically their entire representation need a lesson on the corruptibility of unions. We know what a bad union looks like & this isn’t it.
The problem is as much as we complain about the social media generation, look how many grown @$$ men are already out there “solving” a problem whose veracity they haven’t even confirmed beyond an anonymous internet posting.want to be privy to more of this stuff? Volunteer with the union & find out how problems actually get solved. Or dox some kid off a rumor on a b!+ch board & clear a seniority space for the rest of us, I guess.

Yes. Yes they would. And initiate enforcement action too.
