Realistically, I doubt it. Not everyone is online, even through all the forums. Even if the union were to actually send out an all hands directive about her, it would MAYBE reach 50%, and something like that isn’t going to happen. Just think of all the people you fly with that are completely in the dark about major contract/union related issues that they are actively trying to publicize. Some hush-hush, pm me her name only campaign might reach 1-2% of the crews she would JS with. Add on to that the probably 50% of dudes who talk a big game about kicking her off but in reality wouldn’t do sh!t and pretend they didn’t know her if she actually showed up.

WTF would (not) having a degree have one iota to do with this?
Care to enlighten us poor folk how your degree in underwater basket weaving made a difference in the world?
Letting you fly till 67 will surely prevent a repeat.

That fact that she would even have this discussion of that level of detail with her non-pilot husband almost makes it worst. Agreed, still goes on no-fly list. This is the type of culture Kirby panders to so hard.

I just became aware of this incident not too long ago. The good news is that this appears to be a non event for our crew. And, there is no beef between SWA pilots and UAL pilots.
For my part, I will continue to welcome JS riders like I always have. I may......add a little..."if you see anything that concerns you let's talk about it first," in a very nice way. Other than that, hopefully this person gets to continue with their life and never ever gets involved in anything remotely close to this ever again. I get it, it's a biggie, but we all make mistakes...big and small..

You tell me if this makes any sense to you:
Crew is distracted by looking for traffic and they allow the aircraft to get a little slow with no aural warnings. The jumpseater speaks up and points it out to the crew. Crew immediately addresses it and thanks the jumpseater. The rest of the flight being uneventful.
In what and whose world does it make sense to call the FAA if you're a pilot? What are you gonna say? "Yeah hi... I was the jumpseater and I pointed out an airspeed deviation to thew crew that was distracted by looking out for traffic." "OK ma'am, so what happened?" "They sped up and landed the plane with no further issues."
Again, what pilot would actually call the FAA and report that? That's the part I'm struggling to understand because it literally makes no sense. I could see a Karen manbun spouse who traveled on that plane making that call off the casual conversation with her... not a working airline pilot.
That's why when Casey apparently addressed this to the upgrade class and said it was her husband who was also traveling on that plane that called the FAA after she mentioned what happened to him. That actually made sense.
