Unfortunately I think this video is going to end up on the news in the very near future. Either way this isn't good optics for UAL

If this video is real and not some deepfake AI, the chowderheads who operated that flight should have all their certs revoked on an emergency basis and never allowed to touch even a Cessna 150 ever again.

I would not want this crew operating a plane I'm riding on. Seriously poor judgment. You can tell the FO feels a little awkward about the whole thing though.

The ppd/koolaid class NEVER implies that we should violate the FOM or FAR’s. I thought the class was a bunch of BS, but never interpreted anything they said as permission to pull a stunt like that.
