Let's hope not. I very much doubt it, because they would have to charge the coach, and what crime did they commit? This isn't South Korea.

No injuries, no property damage, no victims....

There used to be one in Allentown. Not sure if it's still there, though.

While not directed at me persay, I was informed of and lectured about a great number of things and encouraged the past them along. Particularly KCM.

Everyone loves to think it’s all FAs, yet we have NINE (YTD) pilots showing up with guns… and countless other BS happening. Astounding level of stupidity.

Since the Horizon JS incident who was (allegedly) on mushrooms the TSA (or someone/some group FEDERALLY) is legitimately fighting to get JS banned (which I doubt ever happens), but at minimum you’ll need to be uniform (no street clothes cockpit access).
IF that happened, there will be an industry-wide meltdown 10 TIMES WORSE than what SWA had Christmas 2022, and thats without any captains going further and refusing to push until that is rescinded----which very likely would happen.

The coach, or any passenger for that matter, is not required to know what the regulations are for cockpit access.

If the coach asked, and the captain enthusiastically approved as appears to be the case, how would he know that he is breaking a regulation?

The regulation states "No person may admit any person to the flight deck..." The person doing the admitting is the person breaking the regulation. Not the person being admitted.

if you don’t already know, you probably don’t need to know.

You mean like willful violation of a federal regulation.

Don’t need damage or a victim to be charged with breaking the law.

and seriously.., South Korea? Maybe north
