Sometime later I worked with the Capt in the Middle East, and later again I was in class with the

Filming the violation and going online seems even more stupid, wow..
I would love to have been a fly on the wall on the flight deck of that 74. I could only imagine the awkwardness it must have created for the FO and flight engineer lol

Strenuously object of course.

I hope for the FOs sake he objected during the flight and reported it after landing (FSAP?) and that is how the company found out. If that is the case, he will be ok. If not, he is in a great deal of trouble and may not keep his job. I think the FAA will look at not reporting it (if he did not) as trying to cover it up.

There are a lot of facts in that video recording. Not much speculation is needed.

Unfortunately for him, the company found out from a video posted to social media.

But yes, I hope he objected. His body language shows discomfort and most of us can pick up pretty quick when the other crewmemember is uncomfortable.

He looked wicked uncomfortable in the vid with everything going on. I mean seriously.....after verbally objecting, tell me WTF is he suppose to do past that???

Doing anything more (like trying to physically stop the situation) would have been even LESS safe.

No one is just going to sit there and enjoy themselves if the FO said fing leave but CA said they can stay because they have final authority.

The CA can tell the FO **** we’re doing this, but the FO can still be stern directly to the passenger and ruin the moment.
Bingo!

It was explained EXACTLY what the FO should have done here:

Sad part about the whole thing is the CA likely encouraged it and the passenger had to be encouraged to enter the flight deck. He is definitely old enough to remember 9/11.

She probably has done it so many times in the past forgot it was a big deal to have home up there. Which wasn’t a big deal if you don’t record it.

Is it true FO was just days away from finishing probation?

I think there's some positives to gain from this event.

Scenario-based interview question - 'What would you do if the Captain...'

"Captain, even on a charter, inviting passengers into the cockpit in flight is a violation of the FAR and the company OM, I will report after landing. Do you wish to continue?" Pull the CB.
