zero chance……it’ll be flying by May. Hell I’d take odds it’s flying by the end of March.

The left wing has flap damage and probably winglet damage. From the video it looks like the plane is resting on the port engine and gear. Should be fixable.

if United decided to fix a 30 year old 767 that had like legit bad damage, they'll fix a newish Max 8 especially when Boeing can't deliver any new aircraft to us.

Yep. I have seen photos of all sides and that's all I see too. It will be out of the shop in a few weeks at most. Inboard flap, some surface airframe damage under the wing, engine boroscope and wash. Landing gear will need work. I don't even know if that winglet will have to be replaced. Maybe.

Bent wing? Yeah ok. This plane is a 1970 American built design with a 2015 coat of paint. It is a Chevy nova with a Prius engine. It will be back generating revenue inside a month.

not sure what aircraft you saw going to the hangar but it wasn’t this one…..it’s still in the same spot it ended up yesterday.

they may be moving it soon though they have got the nose back on the ground.

We were on the other side of the airport and saw a max being towed surrounded by emergency vehicles. I assumed it was this one, but maybe that's just how they tow maxes now!

I sure wish that was the case. Sadly, the quality of Boeing products, specifically the max, has taken a nosedive (no pun intended) from previous generations. You need to watch “Downfall”. It’s sobering.

Looks like the motorcycle pulled a wheelie.

The wing on the aircraft is actually more modern than the A320 and is completely different than the classic 737's.
