ATC didn't say "do 60 kts until 500' remaining." Who does a 90 degree turn at 30 kts? I mean, besides guys calling ATC from the grass after ripping a main gear off?

None of them are cars or race cars when it comes to cornering capability.
MacD was well aware of the Maddogs ground handling. They even equipped it with mudflaps for excursions!

Iceman on the radio knew they were fast and didn’t want to tussle the feathers of the instagrammers in the back.
Or he’s with one of those people that click off the Autobrake right after touching down.
Or the PF was former Southwest.
We have options.

Flightradar 24's ground data is notoriously inaccurate.

Not gonna speculate about the cause until the report comes out. But, it’s good to know that United loves aft CG loading for efficiency. That can lead to some pretty light nose wheel situations, especially on a slick surface. I make sure to point this out to F/O’s, since they won’t mention it at TK. Heck, even taxiing across the painted surfaces can cause some skidding at slow speeds. Again, this may have nothing to do with this incident, but it’s good knowledge to have.
