Wow, hopefully that doesn't mess up his chances of getting on with a major some day.

That's actually not true at all, quite senior.

And I haven't seen anything circulating at all - my knowledge isn't from anythign shared, linked, posted, speculated, whispered, or anything else.

May want to check your sources. CA was hired in the late 90's and has been in the left seat of the 737 for over 15 yrs.

we all know that….but it doesn’t fit his narrative.

And the original ridiculous post "we need a new thread about incompetent ATC instructions. It was 1000 rvr in MCO
recently and they told me to expedite taxi. 3 planes go around because aircraft are going slow to find the taxiway. And ATC is clueless. I’m configured with flaps and make me accelerate to 250 retract flats for 1 minute only to slow to 170 after that. ATC will be probable cause for next accident."

Not sure how you came to the incorrect conclusion that I thought ATC was responsible for the mishap. Moreover, neither of us commented about the mishap. Unfortunately, it appears obvious what probably happened.

I took MADMAX57's original post as an illustration of his, and my, frustration with the frequent errors made by ATC as of late. Over the last 20 years prior to COVID, I could probably count on one hand the times I received a questionable clearance from ATC; now it’s practically every pairing, including the day I posted and last night.

I believe it goes without saying, across the entire aviation enterprise (above/below the wing, maintenance, dispatch, ATC, etc.), there’s an increased level of risk. It comes down to this for me: until relatively recently, I have held ATC in the highest regard, but now I’m frustrated that I have to watch them too.

Fly Safe!
