I never said they were the core racism problem, I used them as a small example of perceived-intelligent people being racist and anti-Semitic as a counter to your absolutely stupid argument that the lower the intellect the higher the racism. Perhaps read my post and stop projecting.

Welcome to life Waffle. Your network or lack thereof is how you will impact the world around you. The airline industry is no different and because you perceive this networking as some sort of evil you justify UAL's program as a moral imperative. You are more than welcome to put your moral mouth where your money is and give up the seat you hold for someone less fortunate.

Given the tenor of your posts, it is a virtual certainty that you will have to mandatorily vacate your seat (have vacated?) before Waffle.

Since it seems you are a little slow, I'll clarify this for you. I was referring to children of pilots being hired at United, who do get preference, not LORs from people you know in the industry, which are a dime a dozen and of relatively little value, especially today. I also never said anything about the Aviate Academy other than it being a minority recruitment tool. Aviate Academy is not a job at United Airlines. The people that are hired at United Airlines that are not from the majorioty demographic are just as qualified as others that are hired from the majority.

I understand that you have reading comprehension issues. Here, I'll highlight it for you. Nepotism and generational pilots have been a thing for decades. If you don't observe that, then you're not paying attention.

You're trying to split the baby. Look at the headline. Prager says UNITED AIRLINES is unsafe. His huge-headed minion, Charlie Kirk, says he would have "second thoughts" if he gets onboard a United flight with a person of color in the pilot's seat.

I get that you're trying to backpedal, but the intent of the outrage is that all minorities are unqualified. You need to check yourself and who you're aligning with. Before they start passing out the hoods.

Ridiculous.
Next, every pilot UA has hired recently have all been experienced pilots. They come from the military, regional carriers, cargo carriers, private jet companies etc. This guy seems to think they are hiring guys from Burger King and throwing them in an airplane.
The only exception to that is the aviate academy. But the academy only gets you through your initial ratings, and you still have to obtain your hours and experience through one of the above mentioned avenues.People who post stuff like this dosent understand how the system works.
In addition,no matter who they hire, they must get through our screening and aircraft specific training, which is not easy. That will never change or be sacrificed for anything.
Ive had the pleasure of flying with a couple of our non white captains and ill be the first to say they were great people and excellent pilots.Me,as a white guy, will be the first to say I learned a lot from both of them and I would not hesitate to put my family on their aircraft,I wouldn't give it a second thought.
So sir,if you're so worried about UA,then don't fly on us.Go over to delta. NO WAIT.THEY HAVE A DEI PROGRAM AS WELL.TRY AMERICAN.NOPE.DEI PROGRAM MANAGER AS WELL.try spirit. You seem like you willl fit right in over there.
ALso,I'm willing to bet everything I own that none of those DEI hires you are so concerned about could care less what you say or do or what you think of them.ITs not going to stop them from cashing their 6 figure a year paychecks .
And the facts will show that when there has been an aircraft incident or accident,95% of the time it's white,Caucasian males at the controls.
Chew on that sir.

You obviously haven't read the discussion that I was having, since you are having an entirely different one in your head. There aren't 1000s of pilots at United who are children of other United pilots.

Legacy pilots outnumber Aviate pilots by a huge margin.

No articles about that. No outrage.

I don’t think there would ever be an article about the fact that there are 17000 pilots at United and however many there are in Aviate because that would be a pretty boring article.
