I interviewed unsuccessfully in February. I can't reapply until next year. Does that mean it's not helpful to go to a job fair in the meantime?

It won’t speed up the mandatory waiting period, but I highly recommend to keep showing your face and building connections if you’re able to. Keep your head up.

I'm curious if anyone has any insight regarding the "waiting periods" for the Pilot Program associated with SkyWest. Before I left OO I was one of those that had an app in with UA that was funneled into the pilot program instead. I received an offer email for the program, but declined since, after reading the fine print, it felt as though it would not have been a good choice. With that came a blacklist period unfortunately. Is the airline strict in honoring these waiting periods?

This may not be the place but can you explain this to me? In my interview group there was a SkyWest CA who was under the impression he was interviewing for "United" but when they came to grab us and verify if we were "traditional", Military, Aviate etc he was told he was interviewing for the Pathway Program?

And there should be no shortage of former NK guys at UA in February you might have flown with you that might ask for letters of recommendation from.

Oooof that's rough. Unfortunately it sounds like he was in a similar boat as me, his app was probably funneled into the program along with everyone else at OO who had a UA app in. When the program came out, they made it so that any applicant from SkyWest was automatically put into this program. There wasn't a single soul at OO who thought very highly of it.

Oh man- legit sorry to see what’s happening over there. It’s unreal how bad things have gotten and I honestly hope you get the United gig man.
