Hiring Minimums at United
Hi!
I'm a fresh ATP with my first type on a business jet who dreams of flying for United Airlines one day. I was wondering what the actual hiring minimums are for the company?
The website states preferred 1000 hours of fixed turbine time. Have you seen any examples of pilots without a lot of turbine time being recruited?
I have a friend who got recruited into delta at 1700 total time with only 100 hours on a jet. I'd ideally like to waste no time into getting in.

As others have stated, 750 is the current requirement.
I have a friend who was flying for SW. 737 type with 400 hours in type. Couldn’t get a whiff of an interview at UA, but got an interview and starts at DAL this month.
Keep updating your app every couple of weeks. Best of luck.

750 is not a hard minimum. Know multiple who had less.

Recently? I know for a while they were taking less (maybe 6 months ago is when a couple of my buddies with less were taken) but thought they were sticking to the 750 min now a days. I recently went to a convention was told 750 min.
