Zero chance that you’ll be separated with an other than honorable. That’s equivalent to a felony. People fail drug tests and get honorable discharges.
You should have an opportunity to retake the test. If you pass then at most it would be an LOR (I suspect it would end up being and LOC).
Get to the track and pass that retest.

A positive drug test warrants an OTH, for the record.

I listed my availability end of 2025, theres a very small chance I will get extended to early 2027 based on assignments, needs of the service, etc. If I give them enough heads up (6+ months), will that be an issue if I get accepted into the program and say my date of availability has changed by slightly over a year?

I would absolutely not extend a year. You never know what's going to happen to the hiring environment, and one year will be a lot of lost seniority IMHO. I would 7-day opt any assignment they try to give you and do everything you can to keep your original availability date. As to what United will do is anyone's guess, but they seem to be working with people thus far to accommodate slips in availability.
